Hands shaping raw clay on a potter's wheel in a studio

01

Question

What will remain of us, and who will misread it?

02

Idea

Use the authority of the museum label to describe objects that are entirely invented — and let the visitor decide what is true.

03

World

Vitrine light, mineral neutrals, machine-set catalogue typography and hand-made surfaces sitting in deliberate tension.

04

Making

  • Generative form studies translated into ceramic maquettes
  • Hand-thrown and kiln-fired prototypes
  • Fictional catalogue written in institutional voice
  • Photographic documentation as archaeological record
Weathered carved stone surface

05

Experience

Visitors move through the vitrines reading labels before they look, then look again and lose their certainty.

06

Result

Twelve artefacts, a printed catalogue and a digital collection index.

07

Reflection

Speculation is not escapism. It is the fastest way to see the present clearly.
